I love a Negroni and sour cocktails, so when I heard about the Enzoni cocktail, I had to try it immediately. Oh boy, was it everything I could imagine it could have been.
I am not sure I had a cocktail that had grapes in it before. I have had Pisco and other grappa cocktails but never actual grapes. However, they add an excellent refreshing factor to this drink.
If you haven’t had Campari or are just not a fan, this cocktail is a great way to enjoy it. The bitterness doesn’t overtake the cocktail and adds a complex flavor.
History of the Enzoni cocktail
The Enzoni was created by Vincenzo Errico in 2003 while bartending at Milk & Honey in New York City. Errico was trained by the legendary Dick Bradsell.
If you are unfamiliar with Bradsell, he is the creator of the espresso martini!
